Basic task: protection against torsional vibrations

In infrastructure such as hospitals and computer centers, gensets play a vital role as emergency generators, and in areas without a grid, gensets are often the only power generation technology.

From the point of view of the design engineers of these plants, connecting the internal combustion engine with the generator is an important task that is not easily solved. The unavoidable torque shock of the engine creates torsional vibrations, which must be compensated to ensure smooth operation of the generator.

This task requires highly flexible couplings positioned to prevent critical resonances from separate displacements. The premise is the accurate selection of the coupling.

We have extensive experience in the development and selection of highly flexible flange couplings for drive systems subject to torsional vibrations.
